Feed, Power Up, Evolve
Food strengthens your team, and three matching copies evolve into a more powerful fish. Build around more than just stats: some fish inflict poison and set enemies on fire, while others summon allies, slow enemies, or revive your hero.
Create Broken Synergies
Combine fish, items, and trinkets to create a build that wipes everything off the screen. Your team attacks automatically, while you manually trigger active abilities at just the right moment.
Unique Runs, Biomes, and Bosses
Fight through five biomes, from a tranquil river to a blood-red sea. Defeat elite enemies and bosses, and unlock new creatures, items, challenges, Ascension levels, and Endless Mode.

I found a build that can do a minimum of 17k dps
(I can't possibly make it in-game because of the rng required, but I would love it if there were a sandbox mode to test it out and see what its real dps is)
lol that number is fake , 1st you are playing in the web version , which is very short and easier compared to the real exe version.
Try playing on the exe version , that where's the real fun is
I can't because I am playing on a F$^#ing Chromebook
Also, it is very much possible, just VERY unlikely (it requires 5 level 3s of the same fish)

btw there’s a build in the game that can deal 100k DPS, but only for a couple of seconds
I think I might have found a better build: it hit 50k dps on the pirate boss fight, and it was only doing a third of its max experimental dps (if I had better luck, it could go up to 231k dps)
Also, I just thought of a cool potential fish: a Hagfish that sells for milk
What kind of build are you referring to? I’m curious. Through the Eyeballs?
It might have to do with the bone shard item getting multiplied by damage bonuses, but the build I'm referring to is cinderblock fish and snails (potential 2025% damage bonus).
(I haven't been able to even get close to an all level 3 run, though, so I think it might be balanced by the rng requirements)
Edit: just tested it; the bones are definitely benefiting from the snails' damage bonuses (when I killed the tentacles, the dps shot up to 85k)
It's not that op (after testing, I found a build that can deal 50k dps single target)
Also, the Ankh doesn't work, and the bone knife goes nuts when you have 4 sacrifice fish.

Made a build that touches 10k+ dps . Enjoying the game very much, already spend countless hours on testing different combinations

This game is really fun.
A few things: Barbed Fish says "Active Ability" in its description despite being a sacrifice, Spiked Ring's description is still in Russian, if you click restart on high ascensions it doesn't give you the accessory from the chest at all.
Also, I think a fly build is pretty good, or a mixture of electric eels and the Fish Sub.

I'm obsessed with this game, can't wait for the release! It seems pretty balanced so far besides eating and selling, I haven't figured out how to make them work so far. Seems like sacrifice goes crazy, the shark is insane
i will say it seems like bone sword is bugged I was getting like 10x mult with it even with only two sacrifice creatures on the board but then I would add another sacrifice to the board and the damage bonus would drop, funky stuff happening there

Ascension Six was BRUTAL (thank goodness for the A-Team)
(I had 1 Skull before the first boss)
I also just did Ascension Four with an abilities team, and the damage was great, but it had much less survivability than the A-Team
what's ur dps of that op team
It's not the dps that makes the op team op its the fact that it can't die
i know u got that heal 50% hp fish on sacrifice , i made a build with 10k+ dps, yours is nowhere close to my op build
Not even part of the build (also, I haven't been able to max out my build yet, but when I crunch the numbers, the dps is 10k+ single target)
Just re-crunched the numbers with some experimental data from my Ascension 6 run, and it is ~13,000 single target dps.

Yeah we aware that some builds are definetely stronger than others, but we need more data and feedback to make precise changes
It has to do with passives stacking

I have no clue what happened, but I went to reroll the shop, and the fishing line went into the stratosphere and lagged out the game until it crashed

Very beautiful art. Interesting combinations. I think the game has potential.
Just finished my first few runs in the web build, and I'm honestly impressed. The loop is dangerously addictive.
Also, the visual style grew on me way more than I expected. Definitely keeping an eye on this one.
